July 13th, 2007: Positive Graffiti

I went out for lunch at Jimmy John’s today and ended up at McDonald’s (don’t ask). When I sat down to eat I noticed these stickers in the window. I thought, “that’s kinda cheesy, but a really nice sentiment”. Then out of curiosity I looked at the other windows in the store. No stickers. It dawned on me that McDonald’s hadn’t put the stickers in the window some random customer had. It’s graffiti of a new sort. Kinda cool actually. A nice change from the spray paint tagging one typically sees.

  1. this is really nice

  2. It is nice, but had the same lines been written on the wall, it would be considered vandalism. So, in fact, no one cares for content but for the frame, right?
