My brother Adam, his wife Julie and their son Graham came up from Mankato to visit us and we all went to an small art fair called the 5th Annual Fallout Artfest. They had a number of individual artist tents as well as four different stages of musicians playing throughout the day. They had a really cool drum jam (it’s been a long time since I’ve seen one of these) that was ran across and we got to see lots of really cool art. Quite a bit of fun.

Some random piece of graffiti. Done by a Canadian perhaps?

We got a well needed, good amount of rain tonight. It removed most of the humidity in the air, at least until the next warm front moves in anyway.

July 13th, 2007: Positive Graffiti

•July 14, 2007 • 2 Comments

I went out for lunch at Jimmy John’s today and ended up at McDonald’s (don’t ask). When I sat down to eat I noticed these stickers in the window. I thought, “that’s kinda cheesy, but a really nice sentiment”. Then out of curiosity I looked at the other windows in the store. No stickers. It dawned on me that McDonald’s hadn’t put the stickers in the window some random customer had. It’s graffiti of a new sort. Kinda cool actually. A nice change from the spray paint tagging one typically sees.
